纳斯达克是科技股吗？
这么说吧， 纳斯达克市场（Nasdaq）里面40%的公司都是高科技公司 (high-tech) 。这已经是非常大的比例了！
纳斯达克的股票大部分都是“united states listed securities” (在美国上市交易证券) 。这些股票被分成10大类。
这10类分别是：
1. Advisory， Financing and Other Business Services
2. Arts， Entertainment and Recreation
3. Automotive
4. Banking
5. Communications
6. Computer and Electronics
7. Consumers
8. Distributors， Agents and Other Businesses Serving Professionals
9. Education
10. Industrials
在这10大类的第6类中，我们发现了“computer and electronics”这个大类。而在这个大类的子类别里，又是这么写的：
Sub-Industry： Computers and Peripherals / Software
Stemming from this definition， we can see that NASDAQ is mainly made up of high-tech companies——those involved in the development or use of computer technology.
In fact， out of about 3，600 listed companies， only around 300 do not have “high tech” as their main business focus. And even these non-tech companies generally have “technology” somewhere in their name，如Boeing（波音）、Exxon Mobil（埃克森美孚）和General Motors（通用汽车）等。
